Audio
One of the things we're both very glad we did was to have our DJ hook up a tape deck to his mixer so that we could have a direct recording of the audio from our reception. We had a few people shooting video, but no matter how good your camera is, the audio that's captured directly from the mixer sounds even better. We're fortunate that our DJ (Ian Lade) was willing to do this for us.
Because we have all of this audio, we thought the best thing to do with it would be to put up key parts of our reception on the web site in MP3 format. As with our photos, we'll be adding more as time goes on. Most modern computers can play MP3 easily with Windows Media Player, but you can also download Winamp, a small, simple MP3 player, to listen to the files. In order to preserve bandwidth we ask that you right-click on the file and save it to your hard drive rather than playing it off the web each time you listen to it.
