We returned from Vietnam in mid-July of this year. We had originally hoped to get these Web pages up by the end of that month. Things got pushed back more and more to the point where we realized exactly what a large task this site is.

So we are asking you be patient with us if you are checking back frequently for the final site. Huyen has planned out a nice design for the site, we've both been furiously scanning pictures (we've scanned 44 pictures, but are probably only 20% of the way done), and we have a lot of content to write. Ryan also still has to write the picture search engine.

Figure all this in with both of us working 40 hour weeks, and you'll see this is quite an undertaking. But we firmly believe the final product will be well worth the wait -- with hundreds of pictures of Vietnam and its people, stories recounted directly from our journals, and sound clips that will please fans of international music and real world sounds.
