  • About the Interview
    by Ryan A. MacMichael

Right before the Mad Skillz interview, I talked with Go-Go band Point Blank. One of the members, who looked like a shorter version of Guru, stepped up to me early on challenging my credentials. I spit out some names, etc. and the crew agreed to answer some questions.

However, I didn't get much beyond "Why don't you all introduce yourselves" when the group went on a 5-minute tirade about go-go music versus rap music and other topics I hadn't even mentioned yet. So, while in the technical sense I didn't really ask many questions, they did answer them all.

The group put on an energetic show that truly showed their love for their music.
