An interview with... C. DeLores Tucker Feb. 1996

About the Interview by Ryan A. MacMichael For all the attention C. DeLores Tucker has gotten, I found her to be a thoroughly unengaging speaker... a woman who feels a need to be important, but just isn't succeeding in the ways she had hoped. Her anti-rap crusades are famous, and despite how she denies the title "Anti-Rap Activist," that's exactly what she is: a spokesperson for censorship, and only a mediocre one at that. On top of that, Ms. Tucker was extremely defensive from the get go during my questioning, which asked some difficult questions, but was certainly not biased against her in any way. She will certainly not stick in my head as an especially noteworthy interview. Within a year of her interview, she was arrested and later sued Tupac's estate because she and her husband weren't having sex. |
