I got word that my friend Chris' mother passed away at the end of August. I've known Chris since I was in second grade and even though he was two years older than me, I was over his house a lot hanging out. His mother was always very nice to me and made sure that Chris' older brothers didn't give me too much trouble. She even let Chris make his peanut butter and margarine sandwiches without hassling him.

Deepest condolences go to Chris, his dad, and the rest of his family.
