What it really means: Things a company does that they actually have business doing (alt. "We ain't fakin' the funk.").
10:22 AMI always thought of it as " stuff were actually good at." Often used in the negative. Example:
Although he was CFO for one of the largest companies in the world, double entry accounting apparently was not one of Scott Sullivan's core competencies.
