Bret Hart has a stroke

Somehow I had missed news last week that Bret Hart had a stroke. Hart fell from his bike as he was riding on a Calgary path and smashed the back of his head on the ground, but was still able to call for help on his cellphone. Yesterday, he managed to wiggle a toe, which gives his family a little bit of optimism, but a stroke is tough to battle back from, even for someone as young as Bret Hart.

That's strange. I would have thought he was in pretty good shape.

What Bret has given to the World of Art ,World of loyalty ,dignity ,love and HEROS,no one can ever deny.
It was a pitty to see how he was treated ,but Bret is satisfied and we r satisfied coz we know what he has sacrified
and we love him and will always love him.Since he left WWF i remember none of my friends watched WWF .
We had certain compaigns to BAN local TV channel from showing WWF wrestling in Pakistan (i am a pakistani studying my chartered accountancy in UK)
And they started showing WCW where he was expected. World waited for the documentary on Bret Hart(WRESTLING WITH SHADOWS )to be aware
of the reality ,I knew from the very 1st day back in 1997 when i saw that match , i knew nobody can beat him by sharp shooter he was the best in it and
the way he spitted on Mcmahon.
He was a real HERO,I loved his Hitman charactor since i was 8 years kid, loved the way he use to come and give his glasses to kids,He was a super hero
and he will always be whether he is HITMAN or BRET HART,we loved him and love him and will always love him, since HE IS THE BEST THERE IS,
THE BEST THERE WAS AND THE BEST THERE EVER WILL BE:)

Bret is my icon when it comes to courage and belief in one-self. Muhammad Ali said "I am the Best" .. and may be he was .. but Bret's statement "I am the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be".. is doubt free. Indeed, wrestling can never be the same without him. I downloaded a vido/song clip on Bret called "Bret hart as we know him" ... the song is truly fitting to the hitMAN .. and i hope someone can tell me who sung that one.

"When you'r going to extreme
You dont even feel the pain
When you'r going to extreme
There's nothing in between....

i can`t believe i didnt know this until last night as i watched the w.w.e. hall of fame inductions. i only watched it because they said bret was gonna be there. i had stopped watching wrestling for a couple yrs because its gotten so boring and too predictable. you always know whos gonna win. as long as triple h and curt angle hold the belts, theres no need to watch if you automatically know whos gonna win. anyway i was always a hitman fan. i lost total respect for shawn micheals eversince survivor series . shawn may be in better shape than bret ofcours now and i still think bret is better than shawn. shawn can go to hell

I too was shocked to learn that Bret Hart had suffered a stroke 2 yrs ago.I find it kind of wierd that so many people didn`t hear of him having the stroke after falling from his bike.Like the previous post I only learned of the stroke after watching the Hall of Fame Induction show or should I say excerpts of it on TSN last night and also I only watched because they were going to induct the late great Eddie Guerrero and the legend Bret the hit man Hart.I was kind of wondering at first why he was almost slurring his words and his mouth looked funny and he wasn`t smiling at all. Then he said that he had had the stroke and it totally blew me away I couldn`t beleive the bad luck the Hart family had endured in their lives.I also just heard that his brother in-law the british bulldog had died a few weeks before the stroke,I loved the british bulldog and watched him wrestle when I was a kid him and Davey boy Smith.I can only say that we have lost some of the most skilled and legendary wrestlers that ever entered the squared circle and that we will never forget them especially Eddie,Eddie,Eddie.I love Bret and wish him a quick and smooth recovery and God bless him and his family.
R.I.P.Eddie Guerrero, Owen Hart,British Bulldog we miss you very much!
